I have a friend thats looking into a daytona dodge charger for his daughter for her when she turns 16.His only concerns is there a tunner or some thing the dealer can do to put a MAX speed of 75-80 mph on the car i have looke da predator (diablo sport) but all it says is raise speed limiter to 190.

Hello I have a question does anyone know if the 2018 Scat Pack Charger comes from the factory with a top speed already logged in the performance page on the instrument panel? I bought a 2018 Charger with 250 miles on it and saw that it had been up to 167mph at one time. Believe the red line/rev limiter for the Scat Pack is higher than 5K although during break in I believe the break in guidelines call for RPMs to be kept under 5K. If the car is out of break in not sure why you think it limited to 5K.
