What ya'lls thoughts on these two rifles when compared to each other? Not debating caliber, just the two rifles themselves. The Bergara B-14 Terrain Wilderness comes with a cerakoting, AI mag, and adjustable comb stock with flush cups. It also has a 1:10 twist barrel. The Tikka is stainless and has a 1:11 twist barrel.

I like the Tikka T3x Lite Veil Alpine. Going back and forth between 6.5 Creedmoor and PRC.Christensen Arms Mesa. That said it's just a touch better in every way than the b-14 bergara. Now the tikka has an awesome action that is on par in feel to the bergara premier and smoother on actual cycling of the bolt. The Browning HC LR comes in at 7.5# and sports a 1:8 barrel vs. the Mesa (not LR) is 7.3# and 1:10 twist. I notice no difference in accuracy with the mcmillan and I actually prefer the fit and feel of the tikka factory stock a bit more. I did the 50-rounds break-in and another 50 rounds of fun shooting, before starting my load development. I've got about 140 total, testing 4 different powders right now. Overall, I am very impressed with the Mesa.

My current 308 long range rig is built on a Tikka T3 that has been refitted with a Krieger barrel and XLR chassis.
