There is one thing for certain, change is inevitable and sometimes forces us to resort to different measures and move out of our comfort zone to assure us of a future.Clay County Schools is once again recognizing the teachers and students with the highest attendance in the district. For the fifth school month, two classrooms at Lizemore Elementary are being honored: Mrs. Chastity Morris, 2nd grade and Mrs. Sabrina Grose, 5th grade. Each class received a framed certificate honoring their achievement.
Thank you to all who donated time and efforts in this project. The soft opening was held in time for the July 4 weekend, but their Grand Opening is set for July 21 from 12 to 2 p.m. with free snacks and fun. There is a Christmas light display set up at the Legg residence in Dille for anyone interested in driving by to see the lights. Located at 3814 Youngs Monument Road, Dille, WV, it’s around an hour drive away from Clay (two hours round trip). Reporter Holly Nine took the trip and was able to get several photos of the display.
