I have had issues is the past with my meter giving crazy wrong readings (one touch verio) and changed to a different meter. Really it only matters what reading it gives if your low, and my dexcom often tells me I'm 3.7 when I'm really 4.1, so it seems to at least for me over estimate lows. I haven't had a low that dexcom didn't catch.
