Showing and shooting my Phoenix Arms HP22. This is a budget 22LR pistol, and does have some issues with ammo other than CCI minimags.Shooting this gun is a lot of fun. I have around 600+ rounds through mine, with only a few malfunctions. It has low-recoil, decent grip, is small and light-weight and is ridiculously safe with all the different safeties. I carry it in a little full-flap homemade leather holster.HP 22A recoil spring at ACE Hardware. Bought 2 of the Ace p/n H540374 compression springs for 69 cents each. These springs are exact match for a HP22A recoil spring. The springs are only $3.00 for 4 plus shipping on the PA website but the convenience of them being available at ACE is the best part.
