Not familiar with the 3010, but check the hose going into the intake air filter coming from the engine crankcase. The engine has to vent the blow-by pressure from the piston. Yes there is an adjustment, - if it is "self adjusting", - you will have to pull the brake drum off and look at it, - you just turn the adjuster back about 1 or 2 turns, and then see how it "spins -- (after you have re-installed brake drum), and applied brakes once to "center the brake shoes"!

1996 mule 2510,it sat for 4 or 5 years.There is only 150 hours on meter. I took carb off and complely disasembled. Soaked in cleaner and made sure all passages were clear. Picked up my new mule pro mx from dealer last week. Ran it for 4 days, no issues, ran good, very happy with it compared to the 610XC's I have had previously. Day 5 temperatures were a bit colder, and started running rougher, wouldn't idle. Finally wouldn't start at all.

It only does it in 2 wheel drive. When it starts this clunking/binding sound, if I reach up and put in to 4X4 it goes away. Sometimes if I drive in circles and or figure 8's it seems to go away. So I suspect that it is getting caught between 4x4 and 2 wheel drive, or maybe an axle isn't releasing/disengauging in the front end.
