It seems like the cartridge type suspensions (AXEO, Progressive, possibly Ohlins) are all somewhat stiffer than a system that uses the dampener with modified holes and/or emulator (Race Tech, Pro Action, progressive). The AXEO seems to use a collar where Mono Tubes use plastic clips.

Yes, the Ohlins FKC 101 and FKC 102 come in two different length just by changing the spring and stroke limiter. When you shorten the stroke you must put in a heavier value spring to compensate for the reduced stroke.With different valving and spring's the showa's performance can be the same or if not better then the stock Ducati ohlins.
