My research program in ecology, conservation biology, and herpetology is focused on a central question in conservation: "What allows a species to persist and conversely, what causes it to disappear?" The ecological answer depends on factors such as species' life history and sensitivity to landscape change.Most schools accept 70-90 transfer credits from an associate degree in radiology, allowing students to jump right into more advanced imaging coursework. Depending on the program, students may learn to perform different diagnostic tests, sometimes referred to as modalities, on a variety of equipment.Our Research. Herpetology research is conducted in the Leach é Lab, located in the Burke Museum and the UW Department of Biology.
