Say if you spray the extreme bond and the next day you see yellow stains coming through in some spots, that is the tannin. You could then spray can BIN shellac on those spots with a couple coats. Or you could skip the extreme bond and use a primer made to block tannin. Many still only use the original BIN shellac. I hate the stuff with the odor.
