Bowfa zulrah.
For example, Muspah and Zulrah usually require a mage switch but Bowfa is so accurate that you can just power through both phases without losing much DPS. It's basically the equivalent of pre-nerf Blowpipe and its absurd DPS shredding every boss with cheap ammo.
If you use serp helm it gives negative range and mage bonuses, which slows down your kills. Anti-venom is also cheaper than the cost of scales in a serp helm. I do 4 kills/trip so I prefer to bring 1 anti venom pot (4) and use my slayer helm (i) instead of a serp helm. Slayer helm is +3 range +3 mage attack, while serp is -5, so in the end ...It is a common misconception that using better arrows doesn't make a difference against Zulrah. I think it's easier than zulrah once you get the hang of it. I barely managed 1 kill at zulrah for the diary after about 50 deaths with the same gear as you. I'm putting it off until bowfa or at least trident. I've died 100+ times at cg but once I hit 60-70 deaths I've been only dying from disconnects or something important grbbing my attention ...I’ve read a lot about bowfa zulrah being chill, so people usually recommend grinding gauntlet first. Bowfa is what makes raids/inferno/gwd doable without 2bil in gear so yes, it's absolutely worth it. Bowfa is the best mid game upgrade you can get. More important than anything melee or magic, other than fang. Never done Zulrah before other than 1 kc for diary. Bought bofa and tried Zulrah since everyone said it was super chill. ... It's really pretty easy with a Bowfa. Bowfa is generally better. Unless you're doing nex I'd recommend bowfa, technically there's a couple of other places where zcb is better but tbh nex is the only important one. Bowfa will work great at any content, god wars, muspah, toa, cox, zulrah, the weapon is a lot like fang in that it's going to be one of your top options no matter what.
Zulrah is the perfect boss for rebuilding after buying your first twisted bow. The gear requirements are next to nothing, as the twisted bow is so powerful against zulrah you can literally just use full black d'hide. this gear setup consists of: Twisted bow; Amethyst arrows ( Damage is capped at 50 for zulrah, so dragon arrows are pointless!)
