Dr. Matthew Latacha, 47, was riding his bicycle around 10:15 a.m. Sept. 10 near 252nd Street just north of Rainwood Road when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by TenEyck.Matthew P. Latacha, MD, passed away Sept. 10, 2023, in a tragic accident while riding his bicycle. Dr. Latacha was a gifted and compassionate cardiologist who practiced in the Omaha community for 14 years. He was beloved by his patients and respected by his colleagues.
